Lookup watermarks and watermarking. Probably can do it in photoshop but don’t know it for sure.

Question by justjustin67: How do I get rid of the background in Photoshop?
I have photoshop elements 6. Whenever i try to save a design as a jpeg, photoshop saves it with the default background on the picture even though i deleted it. How do i get rid of that so that only my design is saved?

If you are referring to transparent sections turning white after being saved, then save your image as a .GIF to preserve the transparency.

I want to place an image in Indesign and I remove the background in Photoshop, but when I place the file in Indesign, there is a white background. What am I doing wrong?

You’re probably trying to place a JPEG file, which does not support transparency. try saving it as an EPS or GIF, or even a PDF file.

More info needed. There’s a “blur” tool in the tool palette that can be applied locally. Also a finger icon “smudge” tool that has different threshhold settings. There is also a gradiant fill tool in the tool palette that shares the bucket tool (hold down your cursor for a couple of seconds on the bucket to make it show up). These are possible definitions of “blend” from all you have given us, that might well apply.

I have Photoshop CS3 and was wondering if anyone had any tips on editing photos of people?

Question by Brooklyn: I have Photoshop CS3 and was wondering if anyone had any tips on editing photos of people?
I have been nature for a while, and decided to take photos of my two nephews and niece and would love any tips or advice anyone could give me about editing photos of people with Photoshop CS3. =) Thanks a lot in advance.

Additional info: Since i’ve started taking pictures of people, I tend to take close up pictures of the face, if that makes any difference. My camera is a Olympus Digital SLR E-420.

Thanks so much =)

I don’t quite understand what you mean by saying having to edit the people photos. If the exposure is right–there shouldn’t be much, or any, editing at all.
